| THE BUSINESS |
| California winemakers are rating each other’s wine? Global Vintage is making history in the wine world by publishing the most advanced and useful ratings that wine buyers have ever seen. The new publication—Global Vintage Quarterly—offers a new approach to wine evaluations by comparing the combined ratings of major National Critics to those of Regional Winemakers. As if this wasn’t enough, Global Vintage publishes it’s own unique wine rating that was previously only used by winemakers to assess their own wine’s quality and market position. Called the GV500 score, it is an unbiased quality rating based on the intensity of color, flavor, and fragrance components—found to be high in the world’s greatest wines. |
